Cybersecurity Architecture and Technical Implementation

Cybersecurity must fit your business. And operate effectively.

We develop and implement cybersecurity strategy and security architecture aligned with our client’s IT, business processes, and risks. From analysis and design through technical implementation to managed services, we ensure that effective cybersecurity is put into practice and operated on an ongoing basis.

KEY CHALLENGES

IT and the threat landscape grow and change. Cybersecurity must keep pace.

IT environment changes with the business.

New applications and cloud services are introduced; additional locations need to be integrated while existing systems remain in operation. This creates new connections and dependencies that affect cybersecurity measures. We ensure that our client’s cybersecurity architecture can continually keep pace with its environment.

Granting access to company information is more complex.

Employees, administrators, and external service providers need access to different systems and data. Automated applications and technical identities also access information across systems. As IT becomes more interconnected, it becomes increasingly important to manage all accesses appropriately. At any given time, permissions need to be assigned correctly to ensure that individuals can access only the information and systems they actually need.

Cyberattacks cannot be prevented entirely.

Even a strong cybersecurity architecture cannot provide complete protection against cyberattacks and companies must always be prepared. Attacks must be identified early, their spread and impact limited quickly, and affected systems restored speedily and securely. Thorough preparation helps organizations to remain resilient.
HOW WE SUPPORT YOU

From cybersecurity strategy to technical implementation.

We assess your IT infrastructure, application environment, and business processes from a cybersecurity perspective and develop a fitting cybersecurity architecture that takes existing compliance requirements, such as NIS2, KRITIS, or DORA, into account. We review and adapt the technical architecture to ensure the best possible cybersecurity before executing implementation.

Cybersecurity strategy and security architecture

We analyze our client’s existing IT infrastructure, business processes, and cyber risks and determine the necessary cybersecurity requirements. On that basis, we develop the cybersecurity strategy and architecture and adapt the underlying technical architecture where needed.

Identity and access management (IAM)

We develop concepts to protect the digital identities on which modern IT solutions depend. We use existing technologies where appropriate and add solutions where additional capabilities are required. If needed, we support solution selection, before executing implementation, and integration, thus establishing a centralized management of digital identities, roles, and access rights.

Privileged access management (PAM)

Accounts with administrative or other extended access rights require specialized protection. We design fitting PAM concepts and offer solution selection (if requested), implementation, and integration. Our goal is a solution that enables our clients to have their privileged accesses secured, monitored, traced and controlled.

System hardening and vulnerability management

We analyze the access layer using established tools and our own AI-supported solution. Our focus is on ensuring that people, after successful authentication, can access only those systems and information for which they are authorized. We harden the access layer in IT environments, both on-premises, such as Active Directory, and cloud deployments, such as Microsoft Entra ID and Azure. Our goal is to manage permissions and access routes so that attackers face the greatest possible difficulty in obtaining unauthorized access to systems and information.

Network security and segmentation

Not every system needs to communicate with every other system. We analyze existing network structures and separate systems and areas where security considerations require. We implement Zero Trust principles and, where applicable, regulatory requirements for segmentation, using best-practice architectures and tools and our expertise to overall strengthen network security.

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

Companies must be able to reliably verify that users, devices, and systems are who or what they claim to be. In addition, information needs to be transmitted securely between network participants. A PKI establishes defined digital trust using certificates. We design and implement PKI architectures, integrate them into existing IT infrastructure and processes, and provide support with updates or technical issues.
